upconverting questionsNewbee checking in.Ive had HDTV for 18 days now.I am so impressed with 1080i that 480p just doesnt cut it for me.I will be getting an upconverting DVD recorder before the year is out.I would prefer it have QAM, so that I may program this thing as I would my VCR.I know Panasonics DMR-EZ27 and DMR-EZ47V, and LGs DR787T and DR797T and some other models (Phillips, Magnavox, Samsung, etc) have this functionality.

What Do You Think About This?Hey Everyone,You know how we have Satellite Radio and Music Choice TV channels that have channels dedicated to specific decades of music (50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, etc.)? Well anyway, I think that it would be cool if there were TV channels dedicated to TV shows from specific decades. For example, the 80’s channel could air shows such as "ALF", "Family Ties", "Gimme A Break!", L.A.
