Master and Commander: what’s with the audio?Has anyone else been annoyed by the audio choices on the recent Blu-ray release of Master and Commander? This is not only one of my favorite films to watch, but with its truly astounding sound mix, also one of my favorites to listen to. I couldn’t tell you the number of times I’ve used my standard DVD to demonstrate to friends just how incredible a home theatre screening can be. Well, as soon as it came out a my local video store, I picked up a copy of the Blu-ray edition. I suppose I should.

Thinking about getting custom made DVD shelving/storageAs my collection rapidly nears 1000 DVDs I am officially out of room. Recently I have been redecorating my room and the idea of getting custom made DVD shelving/wall unit(s) has come up. I have a wall that is roughly 95" X 95" to play with. Ideally I would like a custom made unit that would be from floor to ceiling and able to accomodate my entire collection (strange, oddly shaped box sets included). Does anyone here have any experience in getting something like what I have in mind custom.

FS: Sony 40XBR700 & SVS 20-39CS sub with Samson 2×400watt amplifierI’m moving to a VERY small apartment in Manhattan, thus some extra home theater stuff needs to be sold.40" Sony 40XBR700 CRT TV with matching grey and frosted glass Sony stand. 1080i inputs, beautiful picture. I purchased this new from Tweeter and have never had a problem with it. This would be perfect for a play room or second TV for gaming. I hate to see it go.There are two small scratches on the left side from the one time I moved since purchasing this TV. I can e-mail close-up.
