Running HDMI & Component at the Same time - Some help please!

Speaker packageMy Ht is about 14 x 14 give or take. I have already hung drapes on the front wall and sides and have my ceiling in, riser in the back for second row seating, carpet and so forth. I am planning on using an Epson powerlite home pro projector and as large a screen as the throw will allow. I want to use Klipsch speakers and have my eye on the rf-52’s. That is the entire six speaker package. Is that too much speaker for my square footage? I realize I wont have it turned up all the way but I.

Running HDMI & Component at the Same time - Some help please!I’ve researched the topic, but could use some help in my understanding on the following.I have a Pioneer RPTV that will only accept component video, no HDMI.I am thinking of adding a new Onkyo 606 amp to my set up, so I can access the new HD audio formats. But of course, I can currently only use HDMI for audio - I still need component for the video. By perusing the Onkyo’s online manual, it appears that you can assign the audio & video inputs individually for each slot, eg "DVD" could.

Help me help a friend.A friend of mine is starting from scratch on a 5.1 system. He has a budget of around $1500 for everything (Center/2 Fronts/2 Rears/Sub/Receiver).
