Surround Speaker Placement
Need new surroundsI bought the Energy Take 5’s about 6-7 years ago. I hadn’t used all 5 speakers since I moved to a new house about 3 years ago and I just recently hooked them up again. I have 2 speakers that are hardly producing any sound. The only way to hear anything from them is to put your ear right up to them. I checked all my wiring and I am pretty sure it’s the speakers.Any advice on 2 surround speakers I can get after Christmas. ?
HTPC Problems!So I have been having horrific problems trying to setup my HTPC. upscale player/HDTV probI have a Samsung LN-T3253H LCD HDTV (720p-native, 1360×768 PC) and a Philips DVP3960 HDMI upconvert dvd player. With the HDMI setting on the player set to 720p the picture has scan lines or something on it. The picture looks better with the HDMI set to 1080i. I switched out the HDMI cable for components and the picture looks better than it did with the HDMI. What could be the problem?
